If Manchester City are the champions elect then Tottenham are the form team in the Premier League right now and with these two teams meeting at Wembley this weekend it should make for a very interesting clash.

Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs side have won their last six Premier League matches and have seemingly shaken off their recent Champions League disappointment to make sure they are a part of the competition again next season.

Many felt that this would be the game in which City would be receiving a guard of honour after winning the title, but as we all know by now, they had their celebrations dampened by their Manchester rivals United last weekend after suffering a 3-2 defeat at the Etihad.

They cannot win the league at Wembley, but they can move a step closer to the inevitable with a win on Saturday. That said, this Tottenham team will have certainly learnt their lesson after receiving an away drubbing at the hands of Pep Guardiola’s men earlier in the campaign.

Momentum is key in football and Tottenham would love nothing more then to move into their new stadium next season off the back of a very impressive unbeaten run at the end of this. With the way the two teams are performing as of late, the hosts have nothing to fear and could well pick up a win.
