Manchester United may not win the Premier League title this season but they can at least take solace in the fact that they ruined the party that was being held by their crosstown rivals Manchester City last weekend.

However, not only did that win stop City from securing a third Premier League title in seven seasons, it has also solidified their current second place standing in the table, which they will look to further secure with the visit of West Brom this weekend.

Caretaker manager Darren Moore would have at least restored a semblance of pride last Saturday after the Baggies held Swansea to a 1-1 draw at the Hawthorns, although even with that point it is looking like relegation for the West Midlands outfit.

This could well present something of a free hit for West Brom as they have nothing to lose in their last handful of games. That said, United will be buoyed by their comeback victory last weekend and will be good value for all three points.
