Manchester City may well have dropped points last weekend after being held by Burnley at Turf Moor but that result in isolation will do little in the grand scheme of things as Pep Guardiola’s men edge ever closer to lifting the Premier League title in May. This weekend they play host to a Leicester side who currently lie 8th in the table and aspire to finishing one place higher, something which could well offer up a Europa League spot next season. The Foxes' charge up the table may have to wait another week though as all signs point to a home win come Saturday

When these two teams met back in February 2016 both Manchester City and Leicester had title aspirations, and many felt that the latter would eventually fall away, especially if they lost at the Etihad. However, they surprised many as Claudio Ranieri masterminded a 3-1 win for the Foxes; a result which showed that the club were serious contenders for the Premier League that season and we all know by now what happened just a few months later on.
