Everton have been impressive since Allardyce took over but this is the kind of game like the Merseyside derby where they will likely try and grind it out. Chelsea have enjoyed playing the Toffees in recent years and while this may not be as easy as some of their matches, they have to be favoured.

August 2014 would see these two clubs face off at Goodison Park and the fans in attendance were treated to a glut of goals in what was certainly an entertaining encounter. Eventual champions of that season Chelsea would hit Everton for six, but the Toffees would not be totally embarrassed as they scored three goals of their own.
