Despite a heartbreaking Champions League exit on Wednesday, Tottenham’s momentum has picked up at just the right time in the Premier League with a third consecutive top four finish very much in their own hands. That said, the job is nowhere near done yet and this weekend sees them travel to Bournemouth in a bid to solidify their current top four standing.

Last weekend they made light work of Huddersfield and the expectation will be to do something similar against Eddie Howe’s men. The Cherries were thwarted at the King Power Stadium last weekend as a late Riyad Mahrez goal for Leicester denied them all three points. The club have never beaten Tottenham in the Premier League and on Spurs' current form, they will be hard pressed to end that run this Sunday.

Bournemouth’s first ever Premier League meeting with Tottenham was one to forget as Mauricio Pochettino’s players made light work of their opponents on the South Coast. Although Matt Ritchie put the home side ahead in the first 60 seconds, it was just a mere footnote in the game. After that, Tottenham went up through the gears to score five unanswered goals and record an emphatic victory at the Vitality Stadium.
