Indian Super League meetings: FC Goa W3, NorthEast United W2, D2

Both FC Goa and NorthEast United come into Sunday’s fixture off the back of defeats last week, however that is where the similarities come to an end. With Goa currently lying fourth in the table and their opponents lying ninth, the form book does point to a home win this weekend, especially given the fact that Sergio Lobera’s men are looking to close the gap on the top three ISL sides and victory would be very much welcomed.

The first ever meeting between these two sides in Goa was held back in December 2014 and it was a memorable win for the home side. They made light work of NorthEast United thanks to a 3-0 win, with goals from Romeo Fernandes, Miroslav Slepicka and Andre Santos proving to be the difference.
