PREDICTION
With Sydney FC already crowned winners of the regular season and being awarded the Premier Plate for their efforts, there could be an element of celebration in the air as they go into their final game of this phase of the season.

They play host to a Melbourne Victory side that will be looking for maximum points in a bid to try and leapfrog their crosstown rivals City and finish third in the table. Whether they manage to do it is slightly irrelevant as they have already booked a home fixture in the first round of the finals series, due to finishing in the top four.

Sydney FC have undoubtedly been the stand-out team in this regular season and the key now for Graham Arnold’s men is to make sure that momentum is carried through to the business end of the campaign.

Three straight wins shows that they are not letting their foot off the pedal and by earning a fourth this weekend it will set a marker to the other teams that are also aspiring to go all the way to the Grand Final in just a few weeks’ time.
