The Jets have made an outstanding start to the season but it remains to be seen how much the loss of Roy O'Donovan will affect them. Adelaide are missing two important regulars through suspension themselves but this should be a competitive affair and several goals are likely.

Newcastle Jets did not start 2015 in the best of fashions as January of that year would see them travel to Adelaide and be on the wrong end of a crushing 7-0 win by United. Certainly a day to forget for the travelling Jets as the home side ran riot in front of goal.
