Head Coach: Ian Watson

Squad: Bibby, Burke, Chamberlain, Dudson, Evalds, Flanagan, Griffin, Hastings, Inu, Jones, Lussick, Lui, McCarthy, Nakubuwai, Olpherts, Sa’u, Turgut, Walker, Welham

  • Salford fell to a second successive defeat as they went down to Wakefield last week but will look to bounce back against Hull in what looks like an important game for both teams in the hunt for the top 5.

  • Junior Sa'u should come back into contention for the Red Devils this week having failed to prove his fitness for the Wakefield contest but remains in the 19-man squad this week and will be pushing for a spot in the side.

  • Ben Nakubuwai is back in the squad after missing out last week with Tyrone McCarthy also back in the mix with Daniel Murray and Adam Lawton making way as Ian Watson looks to change the make-up of his side.

Head Coach: Lee Radford

Squad: Eliis, Faraimo, Griffin, Hadley, Houghton, Kelly, Lane, Litten, Logan, Manu, Minichiello, Paea, Sneyd, Taylor, Thompson, Tuimavave, Washbrook, Westerman, Wynne

Unavailable: Matty Dawson-Jones, Chris Green, Josh Bowden, Jake Connor, Ratu Naulago, Jamie Shaul, Liam Harris, Fetuli Talanoa, Masi Matongo, Cameron Scott

  • Hull FC suffered a humbling defeat at home to Warrington as they went down to a huge loss as they conceded over 60 points and have a big task of turning around that performance as they travel to Salford.

  • Hull were hoping to have Jamie Shaul available again whilst long-term absentees Josh Bowden and Chris Green were also slated to return in this game but all three remain unavailable for selection.

  • 18-year-old Connor Wynne could make his debut at fullback having been named in the 19-man squad whilst Jack Logan is also in with a chance of appearing after a loan spell at Toronto as the Black and Whites travel without a large number of first-teamers.

Hull will have had a long week to reflect on their dismal performance against Warrington and will travel to top 5 rivals Salford as they look to redeem themselves. Salford just fell short against Wakefield last week for their second loss in a row but home advantage could see them get back on track here. They will fancy their chances against a hugely under-strength Hull side who will still be licking their wounds from last week’s hammering and the Red Devils can come out on top here.
