  • London produced a good comeback against Hull FC last week but fell just short as they were stopped in their tracks on the final play and will be hoping to get back to winning ways with their home form crucial to their hopes of staying up.

  • Broncos head coach Danny Ward was critical of his side's defensive efforts against Hull and will be looking to try and produce a reaction from his side after conceding what he described as several ‘soft’ tries.

  • The Londoners have named an unchanged 19-man squad this week and could well name the same 17 although Matt Gee and Matty Flemming will be hoping to earn a call-up after missing out last week.

Head Coach: Simon Woolford

Squad: English, Frawley, Gaskell, Hewitt, Ikahihifo, Lawrence, Leeming, Matagi, McGillvary, McIntosh, Mellor, O’Brien, Roberts, I. Senior, L. Senior, Ta’ai, Turner, Uate, Jo. Wardle

Unavailable: Leroy Cudjoe, Dale Ferguson, Paul Clough, Adam Walne, Scott Grix, Aaron Murphy, Colton Roche, Jake Wardle

  • Huddersfield produced their best performance of the season as they hammered Hull KR last weekend to move off the foot of the table and will now look to try and win back-to-back games for the first time this year.

  • The injury-hit Giants suffered another couple of knocks last week with Oliver Roberts and Ukuma Ta'ai both leaving the field but thankfully for them, both have made the 19-man squad this week.

  • Having only been able to name 18 players in their initial squad due to injuries last week, the Giants have a full complement of 19 this week with hooker Adam O’Brien fit to take his place.

This could prove to be an important game for both teams come the end of the season with London and Huddersfield both desperate for the points as they bid to avoid relegation. London will cause problems for teams at home and will fancy their chances against the Giants. They have struggled with injuries which in turn has resulted in some below-par performances and last week’s win should give them a boost but it’s the home side that can edge this one.
