  • Huddersfield were brought back down to earth with a bang after they were on the end of a heavy defeat against Leeds on Good Friday as they failed to build on their win over Castleford in their previous game.

  • The Giants found themselves 30-0 down at half-time and despite a second half fightback, they didn’t get close enough to the Rhinos as they were on the wrong end of a 38-18 scoreline.

  • Innes Senior, Sebastine Ikahihfo and Sam Hewitt all drop out from the 19-man squad with Jon Luke Kirby and Scott Grix coming in along with Alex Mellor after he missed the Leeds game with a slight knock.

Head Coach: Danny Ward

Squad: Adebiyi, Battye, Butler, Cunningham, Davis, Dixon, Fleming, Gee, Hindmarsh, Ioane, Kear, Morgan, Pelissier, Pitts, Richards, Smith, Walker, Williams, Yates

Unavailable: Matty Fozard, Will Lovell, Jordan Abdull

  • London crashed to the bottom of Super League as they suffered a big defeat at home to Catalans and now face another huge game in their battle to avoid the drop as they travel to Huddersfield.

  • The Broncos have now lost their last four Super League contests and their last five in all competitions as Catalans restricted London to just one try in the heavy 6-39 reverse on Thursday night.

  • Jordan Abdull is out after he was on the end of a heavy challenge against the Dragons whilst Jacob Ogden drops out with Kieran Dixon back in the squad after missing the Catalans fixture and Sam Davis is also named with the youngster potentially set to make his debut.

Huddersfield and London were on the end of heavy defeats as the bottom of the table became even more congested with just two points separating the two sides with them sitting in eighth and 12th spots respectively. Both are desperate for a win in this game but it’s the home side that should come out on top. The Giants were victors over the Broncos the last time they met in March and will be confident of the same outcome on home soil but will need to replicate their showing in the second half against Leeds on Good Friday and not what they produced in the first half.
