Head Coach: Daryl Powell

Squad: Clare, Clarkson, Cook, Eden, Edogo, Foster, Holmes, Massey, Mata’utia, McShane, Millington, Milner, Minikin, Moors, Rankin, Sene-Lefao, Shenton, Trueman, Watts

Unavailable: Luke Gale, Jamie Ellis, Mike McMeeken, Mitch Clark

  • Castleford just managed to hang on against Salford in an entertaining clash last week as the Tigers' good start to the season continued but they now host unbeaten St. Helens in a huge match at the Jungle.

  • Grant Millington will give the Tigers a boost as he returns from a ban in place of youngster Jacques O’Neill but otherwise they will have to roll with the same 19 as last week with none of their injured players fit enough to return.

  • Ben Roberts has left the club by mutual consent this week which may allow the Tigers to free up some space on the salary cap and dip into the transfer market if they wish to bring in reinforcements.

Head Coach: Justin Holbrook

Squad: Amor, Ashworth, Coote, Fages, Grace, Knowles, Lees, Lomax, Makinson, McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Naiqama, Paulo, Percival, Peyroux, Roby, Smith, Taia, Thompson, Walmsley

  • St. Helens maintained their 100% record as they defeated Huddersfield in what turned out to be another comfortable win for the Saints as they maintained their position at the top of the Super League table.

  • Head coach Justin Holbrook once again has a fully fit squad to choose from but will more than likely retain the same 17 from the Huddersfield game unless there have been any knocks in training during the week.

  • That means Kyle Amor is set to miss out once again whilst fellow prop Luke Douglas remains on the outer with the pair struggling to break into the squad this season.

Castleford host St. Helens in what should be a superb contest with the unbeaten Saints facing a tough test to keep their 100% record intact. The Tigers have lost just once themselves this season and have yet to taste defeat on home soil but it's hard to oppose St. Helens. Despite having to field an under-strength side for much of the season so far, Castleford have done a good job to stay in touch at the top of the table but Saints should have too much for them here.
