All-time meetings: Dhaka Dynamites W5, Rangpur Riders W4
Last meeting: Rangpur Riders beat Dhaka Dynamites by 57 runs

Coach: Khaled Mahmud

Captain: Shakib Al Hasan

  • Dhaka Dynamites are the only team in the BPL yet to taste defeat and they have won their matches against the Kings by 83 run and the Titans by 105 runs so they have been hugely dominant in the tournament so far.

  • They have plenty of strength and depth with bat and ball with all-rounders Narine, Shakib Al Hasan and Andre Russell all ensuring they have firepower in both facets of the game and they have shone in the opening couple of matches.

  • Hazratullah Zazai has got the team off to flying starts in both matches and he continues to be key for them, and after the opening two victories it seems likely that they will name an unchanged starting line-up.

Coach: Tom Moody

Captain: Mashrafe Mortaza

  • After their opening defeat to the Vikings, the Riders have hit back with wins over the Titans and then the Comilla Victorians who they bowled out for just 63 thanks to a stunning performance by skipper Mashrafe Mortaza who took 4/11 from his four overs.

  • Against a team that has smashed 189 and 192 in their opening two matches, their batsmen will need to improve so there is a chance that they bring Alex Hales back in for one of the other overseas players like Benny Howell to bolster the batting line-up while they will hope Chris Gayle can fire after only scoring one in his first match.

  • That is the only possibly change as they will take some heart from their last two wins and aim to challenge the Dynamites and repeat their performance last time out against them where they smashed 206/1 batting first and won by 57 runs.

These two sides are among the favourites to win the tournament once again and they have both once their last two matches. The Dynamites have been in stunning form so far and have so many options with bat or ball. The Riders on the other hand have been either brilliant or woeful making them difficult to predict. One would expect them to be super motivated for this one and compete hard. This should be a run fest and the openers will no doubt be key, but the edge just has to go with the Dynamites who just have the greater depth in their batting order and more bowling options.
