All-time meetings: Comilla Victorians W2, Khulna Titans W2
Last meeting: Khulna Titans beat Comilla Victorians by 14 runs

Coach: Mohammad Salahuddin

Captain: Imrul Kayes

  • Other than one abysmal performance in their second game, Comilla Victorians are finding a good level of consistency in their performances right now and have won three of their five matches and come off a comprehensive hammering of Sylhet Sixers where they bowled them out for just 68.

  • The absence of Steve Smith has meant that they can bring in another talented overseas player and that has been Wahab Riaz who came in and played extremely well in his first game taking 3/15 so their bowling attack is arguably now the strongest in the entire competition.

  • Their top order looks a little light to a degree but the middle order is fearsome with all-rounders Shahid Afridi, Liam Dawson and Thisara Perera giving them real depth to their batting.

Coach: Mahela Jayawardene

Captain: Mahmudullah

  • Khulna Titans are coming off their first win of the tournament at their fifth attempt as they beat Rajshahi Kings by 25 runs although it was a far from convincing performance as they still only managed 128/9 batting first.

  • Junaid Khan put in an excellent performance in that victory taking 3/26 while Taijul Islam collected 3/10 from his four overs and they will need another good bowling display against this deep Victorians batting line-up.

  • The bowling attack has been bolstered by the arrival of Pakistani leg-spinner Yasir Shah who has arrived in Bangladesh on Thursday after the Test series in South Africa and he will likely come into the side for a struggling Carlos Brathwaite.

Khulna Titans are coming off their first win in the BPL which should give them confidence but it was still a far from convincing performance. They are bolstered by the inclusion of Yasir Shah which will help but they will have to be at their best against the Victorians. The Comilla outfit have a quality team and the bowling attack especially is outstanding. That could be the decisive factor and they should have too much in all facets of the game for the Titans to live with.
