  • The Titans were wasteful in possession last week with them unable to turn possession into points. They spent just over 10 minutes longer in possession than the Warriors with 57% of the ball whilst completing at 77% but only managed the one try.

  • St George came back from 14-0 down to defeat local rivals Cronulla 16-20 last week. That win saw the Dragons top the table and maintain the early pace with a 100% start to the season.
  • Paul McGregor has once again named the same side with his 17 remaining unchanged so far season this.
  • The Dragons made an eye-catching 40 tackle breaks last week which could cause problems for the Titans, who missed 45 tackles against the Warriors last week.

THE PREDICTION

Early pacesetters St George travel to the Gold Coast as they attempt to maintain their 100% start to the season. After an impressive come from behind win against the Sharks last week, the Dragons are full of confidence and have lofty ambitions this season with Ben Hunt striking up a good early relationship with Gareth Widdop. The Titans have key man Ash Taylor back but his return might not be enough to prevent the Dragons from picking up another win.
