  • Korea are out of the World Cup now and they face a motivated Germany team that need a win in their final match of the group stage.
  • They may make some changes but will not want to weaken the team too much given the strength of opponent they are facing here.
  • Ki Sung-Yueng is a doubt after struggling in the defeat to Mexico late in that match, so he faces a fitness test before this match.

Predicted line-up (4-2-3-1):

Cho Hyun-Woo

Lee Yong, Jang Hyun-Soo, Kim Young-Gwon, Hong Chul

Ki Sung-Yueng, Koo Ja-Cheol

Hwang Hee-Chan, Lee Jae-Sung, Moon Seon-Min

Son Heung-Min

Unavailable: Park Joo-Ho

Doubtful: Ki Sung-Yueng

  • Germany are flying after Toni Kroos' last gasp winner over Sweden and they are full of confidence coming into this Korea match.
  • They will have to do without Boateng after his dismissal against Sweden so Joachim Low will be hoping he can count on Hummels again.
  • Low may also be tempted to change things around up front as they looked better when Gomez came on so Werner may move out wide.

Predicted line-up (4-2-3-1):

Kimmich, Hummels, Rudiger, Hector

Gundogan, Kroos

Werner, Muller, Reus

Unavailable: Boateng

Doubtful: Hummels

Germany scraped through their match against Sweden but that could well be a turning point for them now. Korea are already out and while they will give their best and work hard, they are unlikely to match the energy and desire of the Germans who should canter to victory in this one.
