Denmark know that a victory here will virtually seal their place in the knockout rounds which they will be keen to do before playing France so they will go out and play positively for the win.
They have been dealt an injury blow with the news that Kvist has suffered a rib injury and will likely be out so Schone comes into midfield and that is something of a negative to the team.
Christensen was also suffering cramp towards the end of the Peru match so Mathias Jorgensen could come into the back four for him as they have some good defensive options and will not hesitate to give the Huddersfield man a start.
Predicted line-up (4-2-3-1):
Dalsgaard, Kjaer, M. Jorgensen, Larsen
Poulsen, Eriksen, Sisto
Doubtful: Kvist, Christensen
Australia suffered a narrow loss to France but there were plenty of positives from the display and they will not be disheartened as they come into this game hopeful of getting something from this match.
Van Marwijk may consider one or two changes in the midfield and attack as the likes of Luongo and Irvine could add some fresh legs with Jedinak possibly making way, while the coach may be tempted to try Maclaren up front too.
Otherwise a similar type of performance is expected here as they will throw everything they can at Denmark to try and get a result, but the risk of going out for the win will mean leaving space for Eriksen to exploit.
Predicted line-up (4-4-1-1):
Risdon, Sainsbury, Milligan, Behich
Leckie, Jedinak, Mooy, Kruse
Denmark escaped going behind against Peru thanks to a missed penalty that could have led to a very different outcome of that game, but they remain a tough side to beat. They will match Australia's work rate and endeavour, but have the added quality going forward with Eriksen. The second that the Socceroos start taking chances and committing more men forward, Denmark should be able to pick them off and get the win.
