Tim “FCB TheStrxngeR” Katnawatos competes on the PS4 and is one of eight German players who have qualified for the 2018 FIFA eWorld Cup Grand Final. He represents Swiss club FC Basel 1893.

“FCB TheStrxngeR” has had a hugely successful season already, winning the Virtual Bundesliga and the ESL German title. He qualified for the Global Series Playoffs early on, at the first FUT Champions Cup tournament in Barcelona.

At the playoffs, “FCB TheStrxngeR” qualified for the 2018 FIFA eWorld Cup Grand Final after beating his FC Basel 1894 teammate “CodyDerFinisher” in the last 32 stage of the knockout bracket. He will be seeded fifth on the PS4 in London.

On how crucial the 2018 FIFA eWorld Cup has been in establishing FIFA as a global eSport, “FCB TheStrxngeR” said:
