Niklas “NRaseck” Raseck competes on the Xbox One and is one of eight German players who have qualified for the 2018 FIFA eWorld Cup Grand Final. He has recently announced his signing for VfL Bochum 1848 and will be eager to make a huge impact by winning the biggest title in FIFA eSports in his first outing with the 2. Bundlesliga club.

“NRaseck” is a former German champion and has competed in the Virtual Bundesliga this season. After qualifying for the Global Series Playoffs at the first FUT Champions Cup in Barcelona, the German went on to make the final of the Xbox One side of the tournament, losing to the eventual champion “F2Tekkz”. He then equalled that achievement in the second FUT Champions Cup in Manchester, once again losing in the Xbox One final to the eventual tournament winner “Msdossary”.

The Global Series Playoffs saw “NRaseck” come through a tough last 32 knockout stage match, beating Paris Saint Germain’s Gordon “Fiddle” Thornsberry 4-2 on aggregate to book his place at the 02 Arena in August. He will be seeded sixth on Xbox One at the eWorld Cup Grand Final after a 2-3 defeat to reigning champion “Gorilla” in the quarter-final stages of the Playoffs.
