Harry “Honey Badger” Blackmore is a New Zealand native who will represent eSports organisation FUTWIZ at the 2018 FIFA eWorld Cup Grand Final. He will be seeded 12th on the PS4 and shall compete in Group C.

“Honey Badger” had to work hard to make it to the all-important Global Series Playoffs in Amsterdam. After appearing in the second FUT Champions Cup in Manchester and missing out on the playoffs on head-to-head goal difference, Blackmore managed to finally qualify by finishing 12th in the Last Chance Qualifier. He went on to make it through the Swiss-style group stages and defeated “JRA” of Mad Lions E.C. in the first round of the knockout bracket to book his spot at the 02 Arena in August.

On how he manages the practice and travelling that comes with being an eWorld Cup grand finalist with his personal life, “Honey Badger” said:

“I manage to balance my university work, family and girlfriend very well. I play a lot during the day and spend time doing personal things after everyone gets home from work. Travelling is probably the hardest thing about pro FIFA at the moment. I’ve travelled to Europe four times this year and it is taxing, but it’s necessary for competing at the highest level which I enjoy the most.”
