All-time meetings: Perth Scorchers W6, Hobart Hurricanes W4
Last meeting: Hobart Hurricanes beat Perth Scorchers by 6 wickets
THE TEAM NEWS
Coach: Adam Voges
Captain: Ashton Turner
After winning just one of their first six games, Perth have managed back-to-back victories in their last two outings, but still sit one off the bottom of the table so they will be keen to continue the momentum they currently have.
The Scorchers have made two changes to their squad with all-rounder Ashton Agar returning from an ankle injury and batsman Nick Hobson coming in for Cameron Green, who is suffering from a back problem.
Ashton Turner captains the side in the absence of Mitch Marsh, who along with brother Shaun and pace bowlers Jhye Richardson and Jason Behrendorff are away with the Australian one-day side so they remain under strength but still have plenty of quality in their squad.

Captain: Matthew Wade
Hobart Hurricanes have been in electric form this season, winning six of their seven games so far which sees them at the top of the Big Bash standings, and confidence remains incredibly high in the ranks.
Jake Doran, who made his debut in the Hurricanes' win against Melbourne Stars on Monday, is away with the Cricket Australia XI and is replaced by young left-handed batsman Caleb Jewell who could make his first BBL appearance.
Their squad remains easily the most settled in the entire competition which has clearly benefited them and all the key players are once again available for this match against what will be a desperate Strikers’ team.
Hobart arrive in top form with D’Arcy Short on fire once again this term with 355 runs so far at an average of 59.16. BBL’s top scorer can lead the Hurricanes to another victory against a Scorchers team whose attack has been blunted by the loss of Richardson and Behrendorff, and although their batting has improved of late, they should fall short once again here.
