  • Tennessee failed to build on their impressive win in their season opener as they were narrowly defeated by AFC South rivals Indianapolis and will hope to bounce back as they face another divisional opponent.
  • Titans QB Marcus Mariota was a surprise inclusion on the injury report at the start of the week but his quad injury is not serious and having returned to full practice on both Tuesday and Wednesday, he will line-up under center.
  • RB David Fluellen, CB Chris Milton and OL Kevin Pamphile have all been ruled out of this contest with injuries whilst LB Wesley Woodward is also considered questionable with a quad injury.

  • Jacksonville fell to 0-2 after spurning the chance to tie the game with a late PAT and instead failed on their 2-pt conversion which handed the win to Houston in their AFC South game last week.
  • The Jaguars are likely to lose star CB Jalen Ramsey after he requested a trade following a clash with head coach Doug Marrone on the sideline during Sunday’s game but no deal has yet been reached and he is likely to feature here.
  • LB D.J. Alexander and TE Josh Oliver have both been ruled out with hamstring injuries whilst CB A.J. Bouye and DB Josh Robinson will have to overcome their questionable status if they are to suit-up.

It has not been the start that Jacksonville had hoped for this season and things turned ugly last week with their loss in Houston completely avoidable. They will host Tennessee here as they attempt to pick up their first win of the year but the Titans can come out on top to keep the Jags winless. After his very public spat with one of the Jags’ star players in Jalen Ramsey, head coach Doug Marrone is under all sorts of pressure and another defeat here, especially against a second consecutive divisional rival, could prove disastrous.
