  • Tennessee suffered defeat in their end-of-season shootout with Indianapolis which saw them narrowly miss out on a play-off berth but head coach Mike Vrabel will feel he can guide his side to the post-season this time around following a 9-7 start to his coaching career.
  • The Titans used their first-round pick on DL Jeffery Simmons but he will be unavailable for the early part of the season with a torn ACL and he is not the only one who could be out to start the year.
  • G/T Kevin Pamphile and OLB Reggie Gilbert did not practice in either of the first two sessions of the week and look to be big doubts ahead of this game but OT Jack Conklin should be fit after appearing in Thursday’s practice.

  • Under the guidance of rookie QB Baker Mayfield, Cleveland produced their best year since 2014 to end with a 7-8-1 record and they will be confident of improving that record with the play-offs in their sights this year.
  • The Browns made arguably the biggest move of any franchise in the off-season, trading for WR Odell Beckham Jr. from the New York Giants and he joins an offense that is already packed with exciting talent.
  • Beckham had been in some doubt to make his Browns debut in this game but he was listed as a full participant in practice on Thursday and looks good to go despite a slight issue with his hip.

Cleveland got everybody talking with their off-season roster moves and also did well to improve their defense in the draft as they look to make the play-offs this year. With Baker Mayfield now having a superb receiving corps to target, they can start the season with a comfortable win over the Titans. Tennessee narrowly missed out on the post-season last year and will want to get off to a good start but look like they will have to wait for their first win.
