What was the outcome in the last meeting? Cincinnati Bengals 23-22 New York Jets

  • New York Jets made it three wins in a row as they produced a great performance to run up a big score and defeat play-off hopefuls Oakland - and the Jets will be confident of making this four straight victories as they head to winless Cincinnati.
  • The Jets have played with plenty of freedom in their last three games with quarterback Sam Darnold spraying the ball around to different receivers and he has contributed nine total touchdowns, with two of those coming on the ground.
  • Rookie right tackle Chuma Edoga is set to miss at least a couple of games with the MCL sprain he suffered against the Raiders and his season could well be over with just five matches of the regular season remaining.

  • Cincinnati pushed Pittsburgh all the way but it was not enough as they remained winless thanks to two fourth quarter field goals for the Steelers with the Bengals now standing at 0-11.
  • The Bengals have opted to make a change at quarterback with Andy Dalton reverting back to the starting job after he was benched for the last two matches and Ryan Finley will now have to wait for another chance after failing to impress in his time under center.
  • A long injury report was released on Wednesday with eight players unable to practice, three of those being tight ends, and that will be a big concern ahead of Sunday as they attempt to end their winless streak.

Cincinnati came close to their first win of the year but crumbled when it mattered in the fourth quarter of their clash with Pittsburgh. They have given the starting quarterback job back to Andy Dalton for this game but he will come up against an in-form Jets outfit who look too good for the Bengals. The Jets have surprised many with three consecutive wins but with their offense looking a real threat at present, they should be able to make it four wins in a row.
