What was the outcome in the last meeting? Baltimore Ravens 23-30 New England Patriots

  • New England overcame difficult conditions to see off Cleveland as their defense once again proved the difference to improve to 8-0 but the Patriots will face arguably their biggest test of the season so far as they head to Baltimore.
  • LT Isaiah Wynn is now eligible to practice after spending six weeks on injured reserve and the Patriots will hope to get him back on the training field as soon as possible whilst rookie WR N’Keal Harry is available after he was also designated to return from injury.
  • The Patriots decided to part ways with WR Josh Gordon after releasing him from injured reserve and he will be sent to waivers whilst they could have issues at TE once again with Ryan Izzo and Matt LaCosse both unable to practice in the early part of the week.

  • Baltimore produced a great display to defeat Seattle before their bye week and will hope to end New England's perfect record here but they will need to put in a complete performance with a lot of pressure falling on the shoulders of QB Lamar Jackson.
  • Ravens WR Marquise Brown, ILB Patrick Onwuasor and CB Jimmy Smith could all return from their respective injuries for this game and with all three logging limited practices on Thursday, they are trending towards suiting up.
  • The only player missing from practice on Thursday was veteran CB Bennett Jackson who has picked up an ankle injury and his availability is questionable ahead of this SNF contest although he is not guaranteed to play even if fit.

New England will have high hopes of a perfect season but this trip to Baltimore represents one of their toughest matches of the season. The Ravens will come into this contest refreshed following their bye week and with QB Lamar Jackson in great form, he could pose some problems for the outstanding Patriots defense. The Patriots are favourites and rightly so but the bye week could have come at the perfect time for the Ravens to make a statement win.
