  • Jacksonville came out second best against a strong New Orleans defense that did not allow the Jaguars to score a single TD and with their second consecutive loss, they slipped to a 2-4 record.
  • After requesting a trade away from the team a month ago, CB finally got his wish as he was allowed to leave for the Los Angeles Rams who sent the Jaguars their first-round picks in the next two years along with a fourth-rounder in 2021.
  • Jaguars S Cody Davis suffered a hamstring injury and did not return to the field last week but looks set to feature this week whilst TE Geoff Swaim went down injured but if he is to sit out, Josh Oliver could return to give his team a boost in the position.

  • Cincinnati kept the scoreline close against AFC North rivals Baltimore but they could not contain the threat of Ravens QB Lamar Jackson as the Bengals remained without a victory so far this season.
  • Bengals WR A.J. Green and CB Darqueze Dennard both have chances to returning to the line-up for this game after long lay-offs but the former has yet to return to practice and still has several hurdles to clear before taking to the field on Sunday.
  • LT Cordy Glenn could have played his last game for the Bengals after he got into an altercation with a member of the coaching staff and missed Thursday’s practice as a disciplinary measure.

Cincinnati lost their sixth consecutive match this season and the winless Bengals now face a tough game against Jacksonville. The Jaguars were not good enough against a brilliant defense last week as they were edged out by New Orleans but with the Bengals continuing to struggle, they can bounce back here. Team news could be key for Cincinnati’s chances of picking up their first win of the season but Jacksonville should still be able to come out on top even if the likes of A.J. Green return.
