THE TEAM NEWS

HOUSTON TEXANS

  • Houston improved to 6-3 ahead of their bye week with their second win in a row thanks to a comfortable victory over Jacksonville but they face a tough contest here as they travel to in-form Baltimore.
  • Wide receiver Will Fuller looks to be on the verge of returning to the team after sitting out the last two matches with a hamstring injury and he should provide the Texans with a boost this week after he was a limited participant on Wednesday.
  • He was joined by cornerback Bradley Roby and guard Tytus Howard who have both been struggling with injuries but should be good to suit up this week with the Texans likely to boast a completely healthy roster.

BALTIMORE RAVENS

  • Baltimore continued their impressive run as they ruthlessly defeated a poor Cincinnati outfit in their divisional clash in the AFC North and they will look to extend their winning streak to six matches as they host Houston.
  • Ravens defensive lineman Michael Pierce suffered an ankle injury in the game against the Bengals and is deemed day-to-day ahead of this game but he will need to log a practice before Sunday if he is to suit up.
  • The Ravens are in good health ahead of this contest with the other four players who sat out Wednesday’s practice all rested while wide receivers Marquise Brown and Chris Moore were both able to feature in a limited capacity.

THE PREDICTION

This should be an entertaining game between two impressive teams that are led by two young, talented quarterbacks. The Texans will enter this game off their bye week and will need every advantage they can get on the road but even that might not be enough to stop the Ravens who are on a five-match winning streak and they look likely to extend that run with another victory on home turf.
