  • Week 13 proved to be a good one for Cincinnati as they finally ended their run without a win as they overcame a New York Jets team that they outperformed on both sides of the ball but they are still on course for the first pick in next year’s draft due to their 1-11 record.
  • Wide receiver John Ross should make his long-awaited return for the Bengals after overcoming the clavicle injury that has sidelined him since Week 4 but if he was hoping to line-up alongside A.J. Green he will be left disappointed.
  • Green has been slated to return for the last month but is yet to feature and has already been ruled out of this Week 14 clash and it is looking increasingly likely that he will not turn out in 2019.

  • Cleveland threw in another poor performance which has been the story of their season when losing to Pittsburgh last week, and their chances of making the play-offs look to be over barring a big turnaround and some luck along the way.
  • The Browns will be monitoring quarterback Baker Mayfield's hand injury after missing a few plays last week and, despite also nursing a knock to his ribs, he should be fine to suit up for this contest.
  • Cornerback Robert Jackson and center J.C. Tretter both sat out Wednesday’s practice and there are concerns that their respective knee complaints will sideline them this week, although they will be given every chance to prove their fitness.

Cleveland's hopes of making the post-season were all but ended in their loss to Pittsburgh last week and it will take a big turnaround from them to put themselves in a position to advance. They should be able to bounce back in this one but it will depend which Browns team turns up after lots of unconvincing displays this season and they will have to be wary against a Bengals outfit that will be on a high after their first win of the season last week.
