THE TEAM NEWS

BALTIMORE RAVENS

  • Baltimore laid down another huge marker as they swept Houston aside with a hugely dominant performance in the Week 11 blowout and the Ravens are making a big case for being the best side in football at this stage of the season.
  • The Ravens were able to bench their starters late in the game against the Texans and appear to have avoided any injuries with Baltimore potentially in for a boost for this Monday Night Football contest.
  • Defensive tackle Michael Pierce and wide receiver Chris Moore both missed last week’s win with ankle and thumb injuries respectively but coach John Harbaugh is hopeful that both players could return against the Rams.

LOS ANGELES RAMS

  • Los Angeles Rams were able to edge a victory over Chicago but they were far from impressive once again with injuries taking their toll and improvements are needed if they are to advance to the post-season.
  • The Rams were without WR Robert Woods last week due to a personal issue and his availability for this game remains under a cloud but fellow WR Brandin Cooks could return from concussion.
  • Tackle Rob Havenstein missed last week’s game due the knee injury he suffered in Week 10 and he remains doubtful for this contest which will mean rookie Bobby Evans filling in once again.

THE PREDICTION

Los Angeles Rams have it all to do if they are to stop a rampant Baltimore. The Ravens are on a great run of form having won their last six and with quarterback Lamar Jackson continuing to pull the strings, the Rams will find it tough going. The Rams will be desperate to get one or both of wide receivers Robert Woods and Brandin Cooks back to boost their offense but even if they get good news on that front, the Ravens should be too strong regardless.
