  • Baltimore produced a stunning performance as they became the first team to defeat reigning Super Bowl champions New England this season and laid down a big marker with that statement victory.
  • Ravens QB Lamar Jackson made his Most Valuable Player intentions clear as he threw for 163 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions as well as posting two rushing touchdowns against the Pats.
  • The Ravens were without four players at Wednesday’s practice but two of those were not injury related while guard Marshal Yanda was suffering with an illness which leaves tackle Ronnie Stanley as the only player carrying an injury on the roster.

  • Cincinnati will hope their bye week can be the catalyst for an improved season after failing to win any of their eight games so far but this contest against Baltimore will be a hugely difficult contest even if they are refreshed from their week off.
  • Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green is pencilled in to return for this Week 10 fixture as he bids to play for the first time this season but he was a non-participant in Wednesday’s practice and is likely to require a full practice under his belt before suiting up.
  • Cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick and guard Alex Redmond joined Green on the sidelines at Wednesday’s practice as their pair battle knee injuries whilst Redmond also has a problem with his ankle.

Baltimore sent out a message to the rest of the NFL with a brilliant performance against the previously undefeated New England. The Ravens showed that they can beat anybody on their day which spells trouble for the 0-8 Bengals. It is one of the worst possible games they could have asked for on the back of their bye and with the Ravens set to arrive in a very confident mood, they can continue to pile misery on the Bengals.
