PREDICTION
Josep Gombau’s men come into this game lying sixth in the A-League table which is also the last of the play-off berths. They will look to further solidify their top-six standing when they play host to the Newcastle Jets this weekend, who themselves will be looking to close the gap at the top of the table to seven points. Sydney FC are the runaway league leaders, but Ernie Merrick is not prepared to give up the chase just yet, one that will pick up pace should this game go to form with the Jets picking up an away win.

MEMORABLE MEETING
The last time these two sides met was back in December 2017 at the McDonald Jones Stadium and it was a fixture that saw Ernie Merrick’s men record an emphatic home victory. The Jets were flying high that day as they scored four unanswered goals with both John Koutroumbis and Ben Kantarovski bagging a brace for the home side.
