Marvin “B04 M4RV” Hintz competes on the PS4 and is one of eight German players who have qualified for the 2018 FIFA eWorld Cup Grand Final. He represents his boyhood club – Bayer 04 Leverkusen – and will be desperate to bring success back to the Rhine for “Die Werkself”.

“B04 M4RV” is fully deserving of his spot at the 02 Arena in August. After appearances at the FUT Champions Cups in Barcelona and Manchester, as well as the ESWC in Paris, the Bayer 04 Leverkusen player made it to the all-important Global Series Playoffs in Amsterdam by coming through the Last Chance Qualifier.

At the playoffs, “B04 M4RV” booked his ticket to London by defeating fellow German player “Dani_Fink” of VfL Bochum 1848 in round 7 of the Swiss-style group stages. He then went on to make the final of the PS4 bracket, losing to overall winner “nicolas99fc” 5-3 over two legs. His impressive performances in Amsterdam means he will be the second seed on the PS4 at the Grand Final.

On how he is preparing for the Grand Final, “B04 M4RV” said:

“Along with my regular practice schedule, Bayer 04 Leverkusen organises regular training days with other clubs or agencies. Every weekend I also play the Weekend League from home. This allows me to collect further game practice and try new formations in a competitive environment.”
